From October 2023, the world witnessed horrific campaigns of mass murders and mass displacement in Gaza by Zionist forces that have been described as the worst in the history of the colonisation of Palestine. Even though a ceasefire was agreed on October 10, 2025, Israel continued to kill Palestinians, including women and children. As of early February 2026, the official recorded deaths were more than 71,000, with tens of thousands more missing under the rubble and therefore unaccounted. The Israeli strategy of extreme violence, displacement and starvation to intentionally create a humanitarian crisis in Gaza has exposed the fundamental nature of Zionism, which, before this, was covered and hidden by the Western media. As the world witnesses the scale of human suffering that is ongoing in Gaza, with blatant support by Western nations to its perpetrators, the need for rigorous, interdisciplinary analysis has never been more urgent. This book emerged from the Genocide in Gaza Conference (November 2024), convened in Kuala Lumpur amid one of the gravest humanitarian crises in modern history. Bringing together scholars, journalists, and activists, the book presents a rigorous, multidisciplinary examination of the ongoing atrocities in Gaza through legal, media, literary, sociopolitical, and ethical lenses. It seeks to unpack the multifaceted dimensions of the Gaza conflict through a critical lens, bridging legal, media, sociocultural, institutional, and ethical perspectives to foster a deeper understanding of its global implications.
